Home remedies to cure yeast infections include taking 2 or 3 drops of wild oregano under the tongue with some olive oil to improve palatability several times daily or applied topically is a nontoxic and effective treatment for yeast infections and other ailments.
Other applications and further information on wild oregano can be found in The Cure Is in the Cupboard: How to Use Oregano for Better Health by Dr. Cass Ingram.
The brand of oregano oil I recommend is manufactured by a Canadian company (Phyotogenics). It should be taken keravita pro in drops under the tongue.
While Oregano can be used as home remedies to cure yeast infections it also has a few other uses. For children with croup or respiratory tract infections, any dose is safe, but I would start by using 1 drop mixed with 1/2 teaspoon olive oil placed under the tongue. If your child feels okay with taking it full strength under the tongue, you don’t have to add olive oil. If the taste is too strong, increase the olive oil and/or add some honey to make it more palatable. Gradually increase the oregano oil dose to 2 drops 4 times daily. You can also add a few drops of the oil to the vaporizer, hot soups, and salads.
The bottle’s vapors can also be sniffed or inhaled. In addition, a few drops of the oil can be mixed with calendula cream or tea tree oil cream and rubbed on the chest before bedtime. Since there is no toxicity use as much as you feel your child needs to overcome the illness. If your child starts to smell a bit too much like an all-dressed pizza, eucalyptus and peppermint oils can be mixed with oregano oil to disguise the distinctive odor.
Oil of oregano can be used topically for home remedies to cure yeast infections and itches or infections of the skin, gums, teeth, and just about any orifice in the body. Exercise care if you use it in the genital region, where it is best mixed with olive oil or coconut oil before application (1 drop per teaspoon of olive oil or coconut oil/butter).
These are adult doses. There are no side effects and oregano is compatible with any other natural remedy or prescription drug. Also, it’s a good idea to complement oregano oil with a good acidophilus supplement (3 capsules or 1 teaspoon of the powdered version daily).
Other immune system-boosters reported to benefit the treatment of fungal infections include ashwaganda, astragalus, barley sprouts, chaparral, licorice root, myrrh, thymus gland extract, safflower oil, and eucalyptus oil. Blends of antifungals are great home remedies to cure yeast infections and are found in easily tolerated Candida-zyme and Candida Cleanse.
